Eleanor Koike is an experienced psychotherapist who works with individuals experiencing a wide range of issues that can lead to anxiety, depression, and emotional distress. She has a particular interest in issues of self image and connection—the wish to be seen and understood, what it means to find it, to long for it, and to feel unseen or alone.

She qualified with an M.A. in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from Goldsmiths University and an M.A. (Hons) in Psychology from the University of St Andrews. She now works as an individual adult therapist and runs a practice in London offering regular sessions in person, online and by telephone.

She believes that therapy is not only for those experiencing significant mental health difficulties, but also a valuable way to build and sustain emotional wellbeing in a world that places growing demands on us personally and professionally.

She receives regular supervision and training and has the following qualifications and memberships:

  • MA in Counselling (Distinction)

  • MA (Hons) in Psychology

  • Intermediate (Level 2) certificate in Family and Couple Therapy (Systemic Psychotherapy)

  • Registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy

  • Member of the British Psychological Society

  • Extensive experience as a counsellor in the NHS, charity and education sector working with adults, adolescents and children.
