Psychotherapy is most helpful when our usual ways of coping are no longer enough. I treat people using a variety of therapeutic models and my core training is through a psychodynamic framework, which offers a deep and nuanced understanding of the mind and psychological development. I believe that it is essential to take a collaborative approach to therapy to meet the unique needs of each person. There is no one size fits all, it is about listening carefully to what is being shared while also unspoken, treating each person respectfully, valuing their experience and remaining flexible in approach. This allows me to work effectively with a wide variety of difficulties—whether mild or severe, recent or long-standing. These may include challenges in how you relate to yourself or your body, difficulties in relationships, struggles with anxiety, mood, or behaviour, and the ongoing impact of past experiences that continue to shape life in the present.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or simply looking for space to reflect, therapy is about creating a safe and supportive relationship where you are treated with understanding and thoughtfulness.
